Marble Falls bridge closures expected in August

Marble Falls residents may expect short-term bridge closures in August as the US 281 bridge project draws to a close. Texas Department of Transportation Spokesperson Kelli Reyna said there will be nightly lane closures to allow crews to pour the concrete segments until the mid-span is completed. The middle of the span or bridge roadway is scheduled to be completed on Aug. 24.
