G'Shoals Police investigate assault

Granite Shoals Police said there were no serious injuries and no danger to the public after a shooting was reported in the community on Saturday, March. 7.
Police said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of Greenbriar that night at 11:06 p.m., and arrived to find one adult male that had been assaulted.
“The victim did not appear to have life threatening injuries,” police stated in a release.
Marble Falls Area EMS and Granite Shoals Fire Rescue also responded to the scene. EMS transported the victim to University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin.
Police said the victim was released from the hospital the following day.
“This is an active an ongoing investigation... the incident appears to be isolated and there is no threat to public safety,” the release stated.
