Conrad Joseph Lawrence, Sr., 73, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Kingsland, Texas.
Visitation with the Lawrence family is scheduled Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 9-10 a.m. at Smoking For Jesus Ministry. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. with Elder Willie L. Monnet, Sr. , senior pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Killeen, Texas.
Lawrence was born Oct. 10, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana, as the oldest of two children of Paul Lawrence and Bertha Mitchell.
He was a resident of the Marble Falls/Kingsland Area. Before retiring, he worked for the New Orleans Sheriff's Department as a telephone technician. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served two years with the United States Army.
He is survived by: his son, Conrad Joseph Lawrence, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana; two daughters, Shenyarai Kian Pellerin of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Jillian Christina Lawrence of Kingsland, Texas; one grandson, Christopher Benjamin Jenkins also of Kingsland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul Lawrence and Bertha Mitchell.
