Ruth Jayne June McGaugh, 70, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015.
She was born Feb. 10, 1945, to Carl Rickard and Winnie Allen Jones.
McGaugh came to Marble Falls in 1951 and graduated from Marble Falls High School in the class of 1963. She played clarinet in the high school band.
McGaugh also attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, and then UT Arlington North Texas State.
She joined the Methodist church with her parents and was a life-long member.
She was a housewife/homemaker until her death.
She played the piano well, and played at home, for weddings and for other functions in the community. She was a photographer and painter, among her many other talents.
She was preceded in death by: father, Carl Rickard Jones; her mother, Winnie Allen Jones, and husband, Robert Tally.
She is survived by: her husband of 37 years, Pleasant David “Dave” McGaugh; sister, Elizabeth “BJ” Burton; son, Russell Vincent and Kim Tally and their children, Tristian, Shelby, Devon and Rylee; son, Patrick McGaugh and sons, Darius and Conner; daughter, Jackie Morrison and her children, Amanda, Patrick and wife, Jennifer, and great-grandchildren, Mia and Addison; daughter, Barbara McGaugh, her son Daniel and wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Makayla.
Visitation was on Sunday, March 15, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at the Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls.
Services were held at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls on Monday, March 16, 2015, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
