Charles Sena

Charles “Chuck” Sena, 86, of Austin, died on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the Seton Medical Center in Austin.

Chuck was born in Gloversville, New York, to Jack and Clara Sena.

He married Ann Halpin Sena in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1996.

He served in the US Air Force as well as the U.S. Army, in which he attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant.

He also worked in insurance sales and small business management.

Chuck loved to talk about Gloversville, the Palace Diner, Chicken Cacciatore, Ford Mustangs, the New York Yankees and the Denver Broncos.

Chuck was preceded in death by both parents and brothers, James Sena and Anthony Sena.

He is survived by: wife, Ann Sena, of Austin; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Antoinette Sena; sister, Grace D’Errico; sister-in-law, Jackie Sena, all of Gloversville, New York; stepchildren John Jefferson and wife, Linda, Dan Jefferson and wife, Stacy, Page and Brad Brown, all of Austin; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends will gather at a later date to share stories and celebrate his life.                        

Cremation services were handled by Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
