Lawrence Keith Angelocci

March 4, 1941- July 29, 2015

Larry Angelocci of Meadowlakes, arrived at heaven’s 19th hole on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.  He ended his journey as he lived his life, with no regrets.

His life journey began in Wyandotte, Michigan on March 4, 1941.

After losing both of his parents at a young age, he lived a fast and furious life in anticipation of not seeing age 50.

He met his wife Diann on a blind date and quickly found out she was a force to be reckoned with. She provided the guardrails he needed to get back on track.

They happily celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year.

He spent his married life pouring into the things he loved most: family, friends and golf.

He treasured his three daughters and taught them all the important life lessons.

Things like: the perfect putt, the art of negotiation, the importance of generosity, the thrill of taking a risk, the right way to bluff in poker, putting family first, and how to defy authority when it really mattered.

He fought cancer for 16 years.

Larry lived those 16 years with much joy, gratitude and Life.

Arnold Palmer once said, "What other people may find in poetry or art museums, I find in the flight of a good drive." Larry pursued the art of golf until the end.

He was fortunate to experience more than a few moments of perfection in that pursuit, and we've all heard the stories as he relayed each round in full detail.

He loved his family and lifelong friends.

The supportive community of Meadowlakes was a tremendous blessing to him and his family in the final season of his life.

During this last year, he turned his life over to Jesus and that filled him with peace and a certainty that he will see his loved ones again.

Larry is survived by: his wife  Diann; his daughters Tracy and husband Mick Hooper, Cheryl and husband Chris Hardage and Donna and husband Mike Donaldson and eight grandchildren: Chance and Tai Hooper, Dalton, Logan and Riley Hardage,  Josh, Jordan and Hunter Donaldson.

Larry is also survived by his brother, Randy Angelocci and wife Demie, nephew Larry M. Angelocci and nieces Nicole Awalt and Chelsea Angelocci.

A memorial service will be held at Hidden Falls Golf Course on Friday, August 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon.

Since Larry despised dressing up, we request that you show up in his preferred attire of casual clothes or golf attire.

After the service, play a round of golf or raise a glass in his name.

Arrangements by Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls.
