Jack went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015. 

He leaves a powerful legacy as a fine Christian man, devoted husband and loving family man. He was a retired veteran having served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force. He served in Korea and Vietnam. 

After retirement from the military, Jack served the Central Texas area as a master electrician.

Jack was preceded in death by: his wife of 45 years, Patsy Lewis Brim, and a son, Allen.

He is survived by: his wife of 10 years, Johnie Gary Brim;  daughters, Tammie Perry and Lori Jackson; grandchildren,  Michael and Regina Perry, Gary Reimers, Melissa Perry, David Perry, Dylan Jackson, Dalton Jackson and Devon Jackson; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Ashlyn, Brooke, Emeree, Michael, Kenzleigh and Mia; brothers, Jerry, Sammy and Larry and a sister, Sherry, and their families.

Jack  retired from the military and settled in the Smithwick community to raise his family. 

He has been active in the Smithwick Church of Christ since moving into the area.

He was renowned as an avid fisherman in his younger years, and most recently cherished his motor home travels having just completed a 7,000-mile trip of the Western states.

Funeral arrangements are being conducted by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with viewing to be held Friday, Sept. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home In Marble Falls. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept 19, 2015, at the Smithwick Church of Christ. Burial  will follow at the Smithwick Cemetery.  

A luncheon will be served in the fellowship hall by his loving church family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Jack's name be made to the Smithwick Church of Christ Missions Fund, P. O. Box 413, Marble Falls, Texas 78654.
