Missing child found safe and sound

Eight-year-old Margo Murdock has been found in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Her mother, Sonja Murdock, who absconded with the child from Horseshoe Bay Aug. 17, is in custody and awaiting extradition to Burnet County. Horseshoe Bay Police Chief Rocky Wardlow released a statement Friday morning, Jan. 8, stating that arrangements are being made to return Margo to Horseshoe Bay, where she had been living with her grandmother and legal guardian, Sandy Hays.
"Margo was safe and sound," Wardlow said.
