Faith Academy earns bye in first round

Faith Academy's Paris Brinkley scored 22 points to lead the Lady Flames to a 72-45 victory over Central Texas Christian Friday to close out a perfect district season.
Brinkley also had 10 rebounds and five assists.
The Lady earned a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They will return to action Feb. 23 in the second round.
