Madeline Philpott-Keenan, 90, of Kingsland, Texas, died on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital– Marble Falls.

She was the wife of James Keenan and the late John Stanley Philpott.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Kentucky. Madeline devoted her life to her family and God’s work as a Sunday School teacher and spiritual leader.

She guided her family through biblical teachings such as III John 2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as your souls prosper.”

In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by: her children, Linda Quinby of Pennsylvania, and, Donna Matlock, John Lassiter and Marilyn Salinas, all from Central Texas; grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Ryan and Randy, all from Pennsylvania, Libby of Texas, Luke of Washington D.C., Ellie and Alex, of Texas, and, great-grandchildren, Pierce, Tanner, Jenna, Abraham, Madeline, Eloise, Hayden and Hunter.
