Thomas Edwin Pearson

 

Thomas Edwin Pearson, 67, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, June 15, 2016. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gail Cheri Day Pearson of Kingsland; three children, Chandra Pearson of Kingsland; Corey Pearson of Bastrop; and Chris and his wife, Karen Pearson of Round Rock; grandsons Shea and Laken Behrens of Burnet; granddaughters Ashley Johnson-Sessums of Granger; Kristi Smalley of Holland; four great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Sue and Jerry Payne of Bertram; brother and sister-in-law Lacy and Rhonda Pearson of Burnet; brother Billy Pearson of Liberty Hill; brother Chawa Pearson of Kingsland; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, William Lester Pearson, Sr.; mother Mirel Lorine Ferguson Muhle; sister Helen Marie Pearson; sister Ima Jean Billings; and brother William Odean Pearson, Sr.

Thomas (known as Tommy to most people) was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He loved his family more than anything. 

He was a truck driver for 40 years..owning his own trucks for 24 of those years. 

He last worked for Frank Smith Trucking until nine years ago when the doctors told him he could no longer work. 

He was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed.
