Gail Exum Jones, 74, of Jasper passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016.  
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home Chapel.  
The family will greet friends on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
     A native of Pecos, Texas, she was a resident of Jasper for many years as well as Crosbyton and Kingsland.  
Born on Aug. 3, 1941, she was a devout Christian woman who loved her family.
 She also worked in the banking industry, where she served as Vice President of Citizen’s National Bank in Crosbyton.  
She is survived by her son Marc Woolems and wife Stacey of Jasper; daughter Deanne Bridwell of Houston; brothers Rickey Exum and wife Jodi of Mineral Wells, Bob Exum and wife Cheryl of Ruidoso, New Mexico and Nelson Exum and wife Candy of Placerville, California; a sister Sharon Mitchell of Pecos; grandchildren Makayla and Mason Woolems; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  
She is preceded in death by her parents J.B. Exum, Dorothy Griffin and Vivian Exum; as well as a brother Weldon Exum.
 The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Shady Acres Nursing Facility and the nurses and staff of Affinity Healthcare of East Texas.
