Jonnie Mae Irby Clark-Whigham, 87 of Spicewood closed her eyes and went to sleep Friday,  July 29,2016.
She was born July 10 1929 In Pickton, Texas.
 She was preceded in death by her parents John Alva and Fannie Mae Irby; one sister, Norma Barber, an infant brother, and two grandchildren.
 She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Peterka, Susan Long, and Gwyn Whited; five grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, niece and  nephews.
She had a big heart, and will be remembered most for her love of life, her wardrobe, and her willingness to lend a helping hand.
She was the Head postmaster at Spicewood from 1950 until 1957. 
Jonnie Mae, surely left her mark in life, in this small Community that she loved so much and lived her last years in Spicewood. 
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Spicewood Community Center at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016  immediately following the Spicewood Church of Christ morning service.  In lieu of flowers, if you have a story to tell, write it down or plant a rose bush or a tree in her honor.
It's not Living and Dying, It's Growing and Flying. 
We only pass through this world on Angel Wings.
