Meet the Mustangs, hear the Band
Mustang spirit may begin with “Meet the Mustangs” Thursday night, Aug. 11, but the Mustang Band is ready to carry the spirit forward one week later.
The Marble Falls High School Mustang Band will present a free concert from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, in Johnson Park, 230 South Avenue J.
The program, entitled “KALEIDOSCOPE,” will feature music from the 2016 marching season.
A $5 hamburger supper will benefit the Marble Falls High School band program.
Fans of student athletes, the band, the Starlettes and MFHS Cheerleaders gather at Mustang Stadium at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The whole community is invited to meet the fall sports participants. In addition to high school participants, introductions will include members of the marble Falls youth Football League, the Mustangs of tomorrow.
If you don't have your own true purple attire, the Marble FallsAthletic Booster Club (MFABC) will be selling spirit wear and providing food.
Home and visitor parking lots will be open at MFHS, The home lot is on the high school campus at 2101 Mustang Drive and visitor parking is accessed from the Manzano Mile east of the school.
