Faye Pounds, 78, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at Kingsland Hills Care Center in Kingsland.

She was born Althia Faye Harrell on Oct. 21, 1937 in Coleman County, Texas. Everyone knew her as Faye and you had better not call her Althia.

On March 10, 1972, she married Billy Bob Pounds in Ft. Stockton.

They shared 44 wonderful years together.

Both being avid golfers, they managed the Pro Shop at the Pecos County Municipal Golf Course for seven years.

This is where she made her one and only Hole in One!

For 18 years, she was the Office Manager at Little John’s Welding.

After retiring they moved to Central Texas to be closer to family.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed weekends boating with her family.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Survivors include her husband and best friend Billy Bob of Spicewood; daughter Rita Casey Grimes and husband Rocky of Spicewood; daughter Debbie Casey Schaeffer and husband Randy of Wichita, KS; brother Ernest Harrell and wife Oleta of Graham; sister in law Oleta Fay Harrell of Snyder; grandchildren Misty, Michael, Brandi, Amy and Brandon; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was loved by all.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; son Randall Pounds; brother Alvin Harrell and sister Elaine Johnson.

Visitation is being held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home located at 1805 Hwy. 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas, 78654.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Marble Falls City Cemetery, located at the intersection of Avenue S and Johnson Street at 400 South Avenue S. Jamye Rogers will officiate.

The family would like to thank Kingsland Hills Care Center and Scott & White Hospice for their love and compassion.
