Cross country team at Cedar Park Saturday
Marble Falls will compete in the Cedar Park cross country meet Saturday. Next week, Sept. 24, the Mustangs will host their own meet.

Marble Falls girls varsity cross country team earned first place at the Liberty Hill meet last week and will compete this Saturday at Cedar Park.
The girls won with 40 points ahead of Class 6A Cedar Ridge in 71 and Leander 99 points.
The top Lady Mustang was Ambrie Lizcano with a time of 19:35. She took fourth place.
Lanie Jordan of Anderson won in 19:24.
Other Lady Mustangs were Ashley Rios in seventh at 19:38, Daijah Torns at eighth in 19:41, Jaden Johnson in ninth at 19:48, Kim Boni in 12th at 20:01, Sydney Gibson in 13th at 20:06, Gisela Mata in 24th at 21:06, Allie Steward in 26th at 21:10, Olivia Conrad in 28th at 21:20 and Berkley Powell in 34th at 21”37.
In the JV division the girls won with 44 points beating out Class 6A Austin Anderson and Leander.
The JV girls top finishers were Corina Castro in third at 14:16, Natalie Mata in fifth at 14:28, Taylor Wright in sixth in 14:30, Grace Dahl in 11th at 14:39, Tiffany Dunavant in 19th at 14:55 and Morgan Hagood in 28th at 15:18.
Marble Falls is competing Saturday at the Cedar Park cross country meet. The meet begins at 8 a.m.
