At this point in the season, it’s like riding in a leaky life raft.

“You plug up one hole and another one pops open,’’ Marble Falls coach Matt Green said. “We’re pretty banged up right now.’’

The Mustangs (2-5, 0-4) travel to Seguin Friday night to face the Seguin Matadors (1-6, 0-4) in a battle to climb out of the District 26-5A cellar.

“We’re trying the kids are trying,’’ Green said. “It’s just really tough right now. We are going to compete.’’

Seguin has been able to score points. The Matadors are the fourth-best scoring team in the district. The Matadors have averaged 32 points per game on the season and 29.5 per outing in district.
