Randall Collins Hallmark

March 29, 1925 ~ January 31, 2017

Randall Collins Hallmark, 91, of Kingsland passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31.

He was born to David Hallmark and Alice Davis on March 29, 1925 in Bluffton.

Mr. Hallmark proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

He married Dorothy Crooks Jan. 20, 1948 in Bluffton.

He was a construction contractor by trade.

He was an Elder of the Buchanan Dam Church of Christ.

In his spare time, he enjoyed working his cows, buying, trading, and bartering, and absolutely loved the “Thrill of the Deal.”

He is survived by his wife; Dorothy Hallmark of Kingsland; son Lanny Hallmark of Kingsland; son Greg Hallmark of Kingsland; grandchildren Brice Hallmark, Danielle Senske and AmyJo Hallmark; four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family also survive.

Randall is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William Jackson Hallmark, Aubrey Hallmark, and sister, Lohama Thomas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Loyd Milam, Floyd Killebrew, Bill Haggerton, Harold Hancock, Alfred Hallmark, and Calvin Cowan.

A visitation will be held 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Putnam Funeral Home Chapel in Kingsland, with Mr. Darrell Debo officiating.

Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton, with the Highland Lakes Honor Guard furnishing military honors.
