Margaret Webb Jenks

July 13, 1921 ~ March 2, 2017

Margaret Webb Jenks fell asleep in death on March 2, in Marble Falls.

Margaret was born on July 13, 1921 in Los Angeles, California, to Alfred Lee and Mattie Edminston Webb.

Margaret married her beloved husband, Floyd, on May 31, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Floyd; her parents and brothers Mark Davis, William Hornsby and sisters Emma Jean York and Mary Perry.

Also their young son; David Jenks and grandson Jeremy Brashear.

Margaret is survived by her daughter; Deborah Buentello and husband Ib; son Mark Jenks and wife Marcela; grandchildren Kaleb Brashear and wife April, Meagan Segura and husband Henry, Erin Jenks, Clayton Thorman and husband David; great-grandchildren Avelle and Kaelia Brashear and Cristian and Aubrey Segura and nephew Peary Perry and wife Sabra.

Margaret graduated as a RN from Odessa Nursing School in 1939.

After marrying Floyd in 1943, she worked in hospitals in 4 different states before moving to Texas in 1948.

In 1964, Margaret was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and for 53 years faithfully shared with others the hope of God’s Kingdom for the permanent solution of sickness and death.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of Granite Mesa in Marble Falls for their loving care of Margaret for the last 2 ½ years of her life.

The Memorial Talk will be given by Robert Rivera at 2 p.m. on March 18 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1607 Mormon Mill Rd., Marble Falls.
