Cevera Heidel passed away at Kingsland Hills Care Center on Saturday, April 1, at the age of 94.

Cevera was born on May 16, 1922 in Austin, to Henderson and Bertie Barrow. She married Ed Heidel in 1960 and they moved to the Nalle Ranch in Granite Shoals the same year. She spent her life alongside Ed working the land.

Cevera was preceded in death by her husband; Ed, her parents, six sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by three sisters; Violet and husband JT Boyd of Kingsland, Iva Burt of Austin and Bessie Boyd of Kingsland.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls, where Ed and Cevera were charter members.

Burial will take place at Austin Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 4, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls.

The family would like to thank the staff at Kingsland Hills Care Center and Texas Home Health Hospice for their care and compassion shown to Cevera.
