Chamber U for business owners convenes again Thursday

The Business Model Canvas will be the topic of the Chamber U seminar Thursday, May 4, in Marble Falls.
Bill Thompson, who specializes in business model development, feasibility analysis, financial analysis and forecasting and positioning clients for successful funding, will be the presenter from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, 100 Avenue G.
The session is designed to help business owners  build knowledge at an interactive training session designed to provide tools, best practices and ways to grow business and stay ahead.

Thompson will guide participants through a global standard used by millions of people in companies of all sizes. The Business Model Canvas is made up of nine building blocks that can describe, design, challenge and pivot business strategy.
Thompson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and holds a master's in education from Texas State University. His career includes residential mortgage lending, sales and marketing, B2B wholesaling, computer information systems, and teaching at the secondary level in Williamson and Travis counties.
The Business Model Canvas is presented by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of Texas State University.
