Bobby Story, 85, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2017, in his home. Fondly called 'Uncle Ricky Bobby' by all of his nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly, Bobby Story was born in Houston, Texas, on September 22, 1931, and lived his life to the fullest until the very last day. He graduated from Milby High School and married Frances Cooney. He was in the insurance business and later opened a locksmith business in Houston, Lock and Safe Shop. Later, he moved to Timpson, Texas, and in early 2007, Bobby retired in the Texas hill country in Marble Falls to be near his family. Everyone who met Bobby loved him. You could always count on Bobby to show up to any event with an awesome story from the good ole days. He did not have children, but remained close to his sister, Mary Ann Gray, and brother, Orville Story, as well as all his nieces and nephews. He loved car racing, sports, playing poker, listening to music, playing the guitar and could still beat everyone at a game of shuffle board well into his 80s. He will be greatly missed.

Services were held Monday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston.
