Betty Lou Mobley

July 20, 1930 – April 18, 2017

Betty Lou Mobley, 86, of Bryan, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Family received friends on Friday, April 21, at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Betty was born in Memphis and was raised Methodist. After moving to Bryan, she attended Central Baptist Church along with her husband Truett.

Betty enjoyed the beauty of magnolias and cardinals, but most of all loved her family and the memories made during family gatherings. She also cherished the 64 years of wedded bliss, celebrated on April 4, 2017, with her sweetheart, Truett.

Betty leaves behind her loving husband, Truett; son: Steve Mobley and wife Corinne; daughters: Kendall Parker and husband Thomas, and Valarie Goar and husband David; grandchildren: Carolyn Mobley, Brian Mobley and wife Ashlie, Emily Kettler and husband Josh, Jacqueline Morris and husband Scott, Hillary Paske and husband Ryan, and Victoria Greer; and great-grandchildren: Ely Kettler and Garrett Mobley.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kirby, Dr. David Damien, Dr. Schwartz and Hospice Brazos Valley Hospice for their care and compassion. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Hospice Brazos Valley at hospicebrazosvalley.org or your favorite charity.

Please visit Betty’s tribute page at www.hillierfuneralhome.com to share memories and stories.
