'9 to 5: The Musical' opens Thursday at HCCT

Tickets are now on sale for “9 to 5: The Musical” presented by the Hill Country Community Theatre. Reservations can be made by calling 830-798-8944, online at theHCCT.org, or at the box office.

A hilarious musical adaptation of the seminal hit film with an upbeat score by the legendary Dolly Parton. “9 to 5” follows three female co-workers pushed to the boiling point with their sexist and egotistical boss.

Together these unlikely partners conspire to take control of the office and achieve the ultimate revenge. “9 to 5” is a jubilant musical about friendship and getting ahead in the Rolodex era of the late 1970s.

9 to 5: The Musical” will be presented at the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 West Farm to Market Road 2147, Cottonwood Shores. The show will open Thursday, July 20, and run for three weeks through Aug. 6. Performances will be Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:15 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults and $12 for students with a valid ID. This show is for PG-13 audiences.
