Jacklyn Jane Mauldin Reeh

October 3, 1936 — August 30, 2017

Surrounded by loving family and friends, Jacklyn Jane Mauldin Reeh, 80, formerly of Marble Falls, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in St. George, Utah. Jacklyn was born Oct. 3, 1936, to Albert and Elizabeth Mauldin in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was the oldest of four children. She married Reinhard Edwin Reeh on Dec. 23, 1954, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage and raised five children.
Jacklyn was first and foremost family-oriented. She spent her entire life close to family. She enjoyed music (especially Elvis, and even traveled to Graceland once), flowers, painting, and collecting antiques. Jacklyn was a strong woman of great faith and deeply enjoyed visits from the priest and other parishioners during her time here.
Jacklyn is preceded in death by a son, David Reeh; her husband, Reinhard Reeh; her parents and a brother, Allen Mauldin.
She is survived by three sons, Bryan Reeh and wife Hilary of Galveston,Texas, Shannon Reeh and wife Brenda of St. George, Utah, and Ricky Reeh of Marble Falls; a daughter, Starla Thompson and husband Joe Bill of Lindale, Texas; a brother, Bob Mauldin and wife Debbie; a sister, Betty Sigler; many grandchildren; even more great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Schaetter Funeral Home, 301 E. San Antonio St., Fredericksburg. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 304 W. San Antonio St., Fredericksburg. Internment following services at Christadelphian Cemetery in Hye, Texas.
