H. Frank Miller

d. December 16, 2017

H. Frank Miller, 93, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the Granite Mesa Health Center in Marble Falls. Frank is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty; son Gary Miller and his wife Tracy; grandsons Gray and Jaxson Miller.

Frank was a lifetime resident of Central Texas, living the last 34 years on Lake LBJ in the Shady Acres neighborhood near Granite Shoals, Texas.

Frank was a proud man and a builder by trade, starting his career as a carpenter and becoming an accomplished well-respected home builder. He had a strong work ethic, believing a job worth doing is a job worth doing right. He served in World War II as a merchant seaman in the Pacific Theatre, and shared many stories relating to his time in the service. Frank loved hunting, fishing and all things involving the outdoors. He also loved the competition associated with racing; owning drag cars, drag boats, and motorcycles. This later transformed into a love of vintage cars. He also loved to talk, drawing from the multitude of things he experienced in his long life.

A debt of gratitude is owed to Frank and Betty’s neighbors, Pastor Ken Womack and Greg Rice, for their selfless assistance and counsel. A special thank you to the Granite Mesa Health Center staff for their loving care and attention in Frank’s last days.

Funeral Services for Frank will be at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas, on Friday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m.
