Jackie Lynn Coble Goshen, 65, departed this life on Feb. 3, 2018, to be with her Lord and Savior.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Edgar & Jenkins Funeral Home, 109 N. Main St., Burnet. Interment to follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, Burnet.

Jackie was one of the kindest, most compassionate and gentle people to have ever lived. She lived her life selflessly, always meeting the needs of those around her. She loved the outdoors, planting flower gardens, attending her son’s high school football games, going to Bible studies, watching the Texas Longhorns play and spending time with her husband and their dog Hondo.

She was loyal to her family & was always there for her children no matter what. Her passion was teaching children, teens and young adults. Jackie spent years teaching Texas History at Faith Academy in Marble Falls, Texas, where she resided for 21 years. Her students gave her so much joy! She cooked many meals for all of her “adopted” children over the years and loved them all! We will never forget her beautiful smile and her giving heart as she lived each day to follow Jesus and make lives of those around her better.

Jackie is predeceased by her father, Grady C. Coble; and mother, Sara Ann Coble.

She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 46 years, Billy Goshen Jr.; son, Kurtis Goshen; daughter Wendy Holtz and husband William Holtz; and granddaughter, Eleanor Holtz.
