Stacy Carl Nowlin, 47 years young, a resident of Spicewood, Texas, died March 8, 2018. Stacy was born Feb. 2, 1971, in Kilgore, Texas.

He was a loving husband to Cynthia Diane Nowlin; proud father to Monique Renee Ortiz; and grandfather (Papa Stacy) to Christian Jacques Long, Lilyana Nevae Ortiz and Abraham Ortiz Jr. Stacy was a loving son to Cynthia Lou Nowlin; brother of Barry Nowlin and Corey Nowlin; and is survived as well by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his charismatic personality, contagious laugh and magnetic aura. Anyone who came in contact with him wanted to be around him. He was a well respected interior trim carpenter who worked many years with John Shelton, Jeff Turner, Mike Battaligia and Ford Strand.

Stacy Carl Nowlin will be sorely missed and forever loved.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
