Ellen Dahleen

Ellen Dahleen passed away on March 14, 2018. She was born in Danevang, Texas to Neils & Delphia Carlsen on Oct. 31, 1919. She was married to William (Bill) Dahleen.

Ellen is survived by her son, William (Bill) Dahleen, and her daughter Joan and husband Bill Fisher; grandchildren Crystal Carr and William Fisher and wife Becky; great-grandchildren June and Stella Carr and Hayden Fisher; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five younger brother and sisters.

Her hobbies included bowling, walking groups, line dancing, traveling, playing dominos, and she was an avid bridge player.

She was an active member of the Marble Falls Senior Center after moving to Marble Falls in 2006.

We especially want to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Granite Mesa, who took such good care of her for the last few years.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 17, at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home and she was buried in Houston National Cemetery.
