Michelle Lindholm of Tailgate BBQ offers a sample of her cooked ribs. Like most competitors there, she declined to unveil any of her “secret ingredients.” Lindholm was among the many who competed in the 24th annual Lone Star Barbecue State Championship Cookoff and 47th annual Howdy-Roo Chili Cookoff this weekend at Johnson Park.
