Elva Lorraine Tallman Stroud, 89, of Marble Falls, passed away on July 27, 2018.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Aug. 9 at Kingsland Community Church, 1136 RM 1431, Kingsland.

Elva was born in Cornell, Wisconsin, to Harvey and Irma Tallman on Sept. 11, 1928. She married Donald Ewer in 1946 in Bruce, Wisconsin and widowed in 1973. She then married Verlie Stroud on March 9, 1974, in St. Charles, Illinois.

She worked as a vending hostess for St. Charles Kitchens for many years. She was involved in her RV camping club as well as volunteering at the elementary school in Marble Falls for 12 years.

Elva is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Irma Tallman. Family members Donald Ewer, Verlie Stroud, Arland Tallman, and Arlene Lilley.

Elva is survived by daughter Althea Ewer Rowan and her husband Bob, sons Bret Ewer and his wife Darla, Randy Ewer and his wife Mary: sisters Vivian Brown, Thelma Villarta, Alice Mae Morris, Lota Conklin, Rita Burpo and brothers Leland Tallman, Darwin Tallman, Herbert Tallman. Grandchildren Shannon Rowan, Jamie Rowan Wisneski, Jennifer Ewer, Haley Ewer Brensdal, Erin Ewer Clark, Ryan Ewer and six amazing great grandchildren.
