Senator Evanston “Max” LeMay

Senator Evanston “Max” LeMay, 28, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, near Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

Senator was in the 101st Airborne Air Assault in the United States Army where he served two tours in Afghanistan. Senator loved playing his guitar and being surrounded by family and friends.

Senator is survived by his parents Dan and Karen LeMay of Seabrook, Texas; sister, Scholar St. Pe and husband, Lucien, of Huntsville, Texas; brother, Simon LeMay and wife, Cate, of Richlands, North Carolina; brother, Stephen LeMay and wife, Christine, of Friendswood, Texas; grandmother, Betty Kurtz of Mineola, Texas; great-aunt, Ruth Goodson of Pearland, Texas; aunts, Sherri Kurtz of Mineola, Kathy and George Atala of Houston, Texas, Susie and Tom Oughton of Buchanan Dam, Texas, Melinda and Kelly McDonald of Alvin, Texas; nieces and nephews, Sierra, Amanda, Kinslee, Theodore, Tanner, Conner; and cousins, Winston, Brandon, Dalton, Ashley, Meagan, Andrew, William, Gabriel, Nick, Erin, Ryan, Dustin, Jamie, Tiffany

Visitation for family and friends was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, at the Friendswood United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Rosemary Dubois, at 110 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood. Interment followed at Houston National Cemetery.

Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, North Carolina, and local arrangements by Jeter Memorial Funeral Home in Friendswood, Texas.
