Tricia Dawn Guthrie, 38, passed away July 25, 2018. She was born Sept. 21, 1979, to her birth parents Denise Bruce and Curtis Johnston. She was adopted by Kenneth and Daveda Hodges.
Tricia loved her animals, dolphins, reading mysteries and watching/playing basketball and football, although nothing compared to the love of her children and grandchildren. She considered you family no matter if you were related or not.
Tricia is survived by her ex-husband, Kootsey Guthrie; daughter Delina McClinton (Lance); son Joseph Guthrie; granddaughter Avalon McClinton; grandson Ronan McClinton; mother, Daveda Harms; stepfather Don Harms; birth parents Denise Bruce (Elliott) and Curtis Johnston; brothers Brandon Owens (Roxie) and Ryan Johnston; sisters Ashley Owens and Jennetta Laursen; stepbrother Harry Harms; stepsisters Ravon Kruger, Christy Pipher and Emily Long; grandmothers Emma Johnston, Mary Luhrs and Eunice Uhrich; and multiple cousins, nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lynn Hodges; and grandparents Earl and Elna Hodges, David Taylor Holden, Bob Johnston and Verne Ginger.
Arrangements under the care of Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Church at the Epicenter, 2401 US 281, Burnet.
