Lynn Parmelee

Lynn Parmelee, 61, of Luling, Texas, passed away on Aug. 23, 2018. He was born to Harry and Kathleen Parmelee on March 3, 1957 in Penn Yan, New York. Lynn grew up in Penn Yan, New York, until the family moved to Marble Falls when he was in the seventh grade. Lynn was a 1975 graduate of Marble Falls High School. Lynn was a master electrician and worked in the Marble Falls area until 2006. He was employed by Wildcat Electric since 2012 in San Marcos, Texas. Lynn enjoyed fishing, hunting, barbecuing and spending time with his family and friends. He coached a youth baseball team in Marble Falls for several years.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Parmelee and Kathleen Parmelee.

He is survived by two sons, Colby Parmelee of Austin, Texas, and Ryan Parmelee and daughter-in-law Britany Parmelee of Spring Branch, Texas; brother, Gary Parmelee of Dallas; sister, Michelle Parmelee of San Marcos; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in memory of Lynn. A website has been set up at giftfunds.stjude.org/lynnparmelee.
