Rogelio Castaneda Soto passed away Sept. 30, 2018. He was born in Durango, Mexico, on May 16, 1950. Rogelio lived in Marble Falls since 1981 with his wife Maria Esperanza Castaneda.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Francisca Castaneda.

He is survived by his children: Debbie Castaneda, Jacqueline Iglesias, Roger Castaneda and Magdalena Del Moral Banderas; as well as eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild along with three brothers, three sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Rogelio’s favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed being with his best friends, Rogelio Solorzano and Eloy Solorzano.

Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 4, at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls. Funeral Service will be Friday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marble Falls, and burial will be at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
