Jessie Matthews Bochat, 75, passed away on November 29, 2018.

Jessie was born in Richmond, Texas, the seventh of ten children, to Bernard and Thelma Davis. She was a hard worker starting in the mailroom at her first job. Her love of numbers enabled her to work her way up to an actuarial position in the accounting department of Ranger Insurance. She believed in helping women in crisis by devoting time to the crisis center resale shop. She loved travel and learning new things. She was a loving wife and excellent traveling companion. She was loved and will be always remembered.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Thelma Davis; brothers, Cullin Davis and Walter Davis; sisters, Melba Minyard and Minnie Jones; niece, Daphne Simpson.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Justin S. Bochat; her husband's children, Neal Bochat, Renee Lamb, Lori Byrd and Justin Bochat Jr.; brothers and sisters, Francis Laningham, William Davis, Jamie Davis, Arlice Davis and Margret Simpson; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nephew, Jay Simpson.
