It is with great sadness that the family of Julia “Julie” Rodriguez announce her passing after she lost her battle with lung cancer on Dec. 24, 2018.

Born and raised in Robstown, Texas, where she later married the love of her life, they eventually moved to the Marble Falls area where they would call home. Julie devoted her life to safely transporting children to and from school as a bus driver for more than 30 years for Marble Falls ISD. In her spare time, she focused on her family, being the BEST wife, mom, and nana ever.

Julie will be forever remembered by her husband of 47 years, Jesus Rodriguez; her loving children, Myrella (Juvenal) Vazquez and Patricia Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Ashley (John) Schultz and Michael Vazquez. She will also be fondly remembered by countless extended family members and friends.

Julie is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Natividad Salas; her in-laws, Jesus and Evangelina Rodriguez and her brother Arturo Salas.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018.
