Gail Marie Huffman, 57, of Granite Shoals, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, December 24, 2018. She was born to the late Howard Waechter and the late Delores Latham Waechter, on December 23, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Gail graduated from Marble Falls High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting from Texas State Technical Institute. She married the love of her life, Gary Steven Huffman, in 1982, and their love remained steadfast and unfaltering up until her death.

Gail is preceded in death by both her parents, her paternal and maternal grandparents, and by her oldest brother, Leslie Allen Waechter.

Gail is survived by her husband, Gary Huffman; and her two daughters, Rachel and Hannah Huffman. She is also survived by three brothers, Doug Waechter and his wife Kathy, Buddy Waechter and Sherry Derrick, and Tim Waechter and his wife Gail; along with a whole host of extended family and friends that she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to either Fellowship Baptist Church or to donate a favorite book in her memory to Spicewood Elementary School. Visitation and service were held at Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday, Dec. 29, followed by a burial at Fairland Cemetery.
