Colonel Chester Matthew Tobey, 90, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away March 8, 2019, at the Doris Miller Veterans Center in Waco, Texas. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Emmett and Nettie Tobey.
Chester is a decorated Vietnam Veteran who served his community and family with enthusiasm and love. He is survived by his wife, Vivian I. Tobey; three sons, Randall and wife Donna, Daniel and wife Tina, Kenneth and wife Sheila; as well as seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park this Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m.
