Crews were scheduled to install the final component of a Marble Falls city amenity, known as Harmony Park the week of April 22, which features free-standing outdoor musical instruments on the grounds of a new downtown restroom facility.
Officials have scheduled a public grand opening for 4 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at the location at the intersection of Main Street adjacent to the city hall parking lot, 800 Third Street.
The feature, called Freenotes, allows residents and visitors to manipulate free-standing, permanently-installed equipment to produce melodic sounds.
The creator of the feature promoted the instruments as having, “'No Wrong Notes' so there is never a discordant sound” as user are creating various rhythms and sound patterns.
“We are super excited to bring this unique and meaningful opportunity to downtown Marble Falls,” Assistant City Manager Caleb Kraenzel said in a statement. “I am inspired by the amount of enthusiasm that the project has created amongst the people of our community.” . . .
