Meadowlakes city council election on Saturday, May 4

Early voting in the Meadowlakes City Council election ends at 5 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 30, with Election Day voting scheduled for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

Voting for both early voting and Election Day is being held at the Burnet County Courthouse Annex, 810 Steve Hawkins Parkway, Marble Falls.

Barbara Peskin is running unopposed for Place 2, which is currently held by Woods, who did not seek re-election. Steve Newton and Eddie Wise are running for Place 4, which is vacant after the resignation of Ed O’Hayre earlier this year, and incumbent Council member Bob Brown and Gerry Mason are running for Place 5.
