Baylor Scott and White Health broke ground Monday, July 29 on the future home of its medical services in Burnet. The clinic will be located at 1500 East Polk Street, across from the Burnet County Sheriff's Office.

At about 8,000 square feet, the new clinic will feature 10 exam rooms and a procedure space. It will offer services that include family medicine, diagnostic X-Ray, and on-site laboratory services.

Once construction is complete, the services at the clinic, currently located at 101 East Jackson Street, will transition to the new location to better serve the growing medical needs of the area's residents. The new location of Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Burnet is expected to open late Spring 2020.

Baylor Scott & White has a long-standing history in this community, and we're honored to have served at this historic location, which represents the unique charm of Burnet,” said Baylor Scott & White – Hill Country Region President Tim Ols. “While we have enjoyed serving in the heart of downtown, we recognize the area is growing. With this new clinic location, we are expanding to meet the community's needs.” . . .
