Stanton Dwight Jackson, born to Betty and Stanton Jackson on Feb. 23, 1955 in Burnet, Texas, passed away on July 31, 2019. Stanton was better known to those that loved him as Dwight.
Dwight was the most compassionate and giving man and anyone that knew him, knows of the undying love that he had for his wife, Joddie of 33 years. The two were the truest form of soul mates. Together they raised and loved their blended family.
He was a long time and dedicated employee of Lake LBJ Improvement, and just recently celebrated his 31st year there. He also had a small family ranch that he took great pride in. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved introducing the sport to others.
He was survived by his wife, Joddie Jackson, to whom he referred to as the love his life; his aunt, Judy and uncle LD Jackson; and uncle, LE Floyd; brothers, Bill Jackson and Howard Wall and wife, Jessica; his sisters-in-law, Minnie Lou Jackson and Kimberly Wall; his children, Chelsie Lee and husband Jesse Erickson, Melinda Sauer, Lisa Kay Jackson, Melissa Frerich and Melanie Sauer-Moctezuma and husband, Anthony; and his grandchildren, Haylyn Ross, soon to arrive, Kynlyn Erickson, Alisha Scott, Rachel Jackson, Riley and Levi Frerich, Teesha and Shea Brown, Kaden Alexander; also, his best friends, Scooter Lindholm, Jason Hamilton and Randal Maxwell; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wall; father, Stanton Jackson; son, Clifford Jackson; grandson, Robert Groth; brothers, Robert Jackson and Willie Wall; and granddog, Sosha Sauer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 Hwy. 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. Funeral services will also be held at Clements-Wilcox on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. Graveside services to follow at Smithwick Cemetery, 11700 Farm to Market Road 1431, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. Reception is being held at 1810 Lucy Lane, Marble Falls, Texas 78654.
