Minnie Mae Whyburn

Minnie Mae Whyburn, 90, of Meadowlakes, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2019.

Minnie Mae Whyburn was born in Waco, Texas on Sept. 18, 1928. She received a Bachelor Degree from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Minnie Mae was a Home Economics Teacher for 27 years at Burnet High School in Burnet, Texas. She played piano and organ while supporting her husband, Jack, as he served in various Baptist Churches in the Hill Country.

Minnie Mae is survived by son, Billy Whyburn of Robert Lee, Texas; daughter, Lynn Whyburn Clarke and husband Jim Clarke of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Lance Whyburn and wife Jaime Leigh of Carrollton, Texas, Angela Whyburn Walker and husband Zane of Flower Mound, Texas, Justin Clarke of Houston, Texas, and Tanner Clarke and wife Kendra of Abilene, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Blaine Walker, Asher Whyburn, Austin Whyburn, and Josiah Clarke. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Whyburn; beloved son, David Whyburn; and parents, George and Gail Sharp.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m., and the funeral services will be on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Both will be at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Minnie Mae and Jack Whyburn Endowed Scholarship at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, 900 College Street Belton, Texas 76513.
