Congressman addresses national issues at Marble Falls coffee break

U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (Dist. 25) shared a cup of java, provided insights on the top issues of the nation and took questions from about 40 people from the audience at Numinous Coffee Roasters in Marble Falls.

From border security and the economy to tariffs and the burgeoning trade war with China, U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (Dist. 25) offered insight Aug. 13 into the challenges lawmakers are facing as they attempt to tackle the top national issues.
The Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce hosted Williams for a Coffee Break from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with the Congressman at Numinous Coffee Roasters, 714 RR 1431 in Marble Falls.
Topics included his aim to encourage other lawmakers to support a balanced budget and the national crisis the nation faces with an unsecured border. About 40 people attended the event.
Williams represents the 25th congressional district of Texas which stretches from Tarrant County in the north to Hays County in the south and includes much of the Texas Hill Country and Austin.
In the 116th Congress, Williams serves on both the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions and the Subcommittee on National Security, International Development and Monetary Policy, within the Financial Services Committee.
