A boat launch area upgrade is underway at Inks Lake State Park which will include a new dock and a resurfaced boat ramp, officials said.

On Aug. 19, crews continued a concrete pour to renovate the ramp for trailered watercraft adjacent to the park store and kayak launch site.

The state park venue, 3630 Park Road 4 in Burnet County, features one public boat ramp utilized by park-goers. . . .
