James Lloyd Standly of Marble Falls (84) passed away on August 22, 2019. He was born March 31, 1935, in Bynum, Texas where he was also raised.

His parents, Charley and Floria Standly are deceased. James graduated from Bynum High School in 1953 and from Abilene Christian University in 1958.

He was active as an insurance agent and insurance manager beginning in 1965 in the D/FW Metroplex, and later in Austin and Marble Falls. James moved to Marble Falls in 2006.

Survivors include his wife Pam Standly, sons Randy Standly of Houston and Kirk Standly of Plano, step-son Rob Schmalz of Marble Falls and step-daughter Heather Brewer of Bentonville, Arkansas.

He is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel, 1805 Hwy 281 N., Marble Falls, Texas.
