The church will honor the memory of Sara Elizabeth Rains-Hurston with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the church, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink, which was Rains-Hurston's favorite color.
