Peggy passed peacefully to be with her Lord on Sept. 10, 2019 at the age of 62 after a brief illness. She was in the special loving care of Christopher House in Austin, Texas.
Peggy was born and raised in Iowa where she received her Bachelors Degree in English and French and taught there for several years before moving to Sunrise Beach, Texas. She began her teaching in Texas in Hull-Diseta School District before teaching middle school for Burnet CISD from 1999 through 2009.
Peggy never married or had children but considered all her students “my kids.”
After retiring from teaching she worked at Camp Buckner and the Corner Store in Burnet where she was affectionately know as Peaches for her cheery “Hi Peaches” to all who entered.
