Emma Maria Earls, 88, passed away in Tomball, Texas on Oct. 8, 2019. Emma was born in Martinez, California. Her love for California never left her heart. She was a beautiful, strong willed woman who moved to Buchanan Dam, Texas in 2001. She loved to garden, feed the song birds, camping, taking trips, Facebook, spending time with her loved ones, and most of all she loved her California coastline and chocolate.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Estill Payton Earls. Emma has four daughters, Jeanne, Juanita, Peggy and Lori, whom she loved with all her heart. There are nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren whom she was so proud of.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14 at Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave, in Kingsland. Graveside service will also be on Monday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4, in Burnet. An online guest book and maps may be found at PutnamCares.com.
